Community Health Evangelism

I hr CME available

This workshop introduces the foundations of Community Health Evangelism (CHE) by tracing the global call to primary health care following the Alma-Ata Declaration and the emergence of community-centered approaches that emphasize local empowerment, ownership, and initiative. Participants will explore core principles of community health and development—including building on local assets, mobilizing community cohesion, and fostering locally led solutions—while examining how these align with a biblical vision of the gospel that addresses spiritual, physical, social, and emotional flourishing. Through practical case studies from diverse international settings, the workshop will demonstrate how communities, churches, health workers, and government can work together to cultivate lasting community transformation.

Finding and Following God’s Call for a Lifetime

Finding God’s purpose for our life is not a hidden secret, nor a recipe, It is a mystery we get to live out.  How do we follow His call for a lifetime?  God’s call is not just about where you go or what you do. It is not a onetime decision but a real journey with a God who lives life out with us.  This session uses personal story and Biblical principles to encourages faithfully finding and following God’s call at all stages of our lives. Our identity will go through some crucifixions along the way, but on the other side are the resurrections of a new life we never imagined.
